Samantha Scribilo - Sales Representative

Hello, my name is Samantha Scribilo, and I am a sales associate with the Jennifer Queen team. I have been surrounded by the real estate industry for as long as I can remember. I’m a third generation Realtor as my parents and grandparents all had successful careers in real estate. I have always had very strong work ethic and I believe growing up around the industry helped instill that in me. 

I grew up in Kenora, Ontario and figure skated competitively until I graduated high school. This meant I was always “on the go”, going straight to the rink for 6 AM, to school, and then back to the rink again. But I wouldn’t have had it any other way! 

After graduating high school, I started my first career as a professional figure skater with Disney on Ice. I was fortunate enough to perform in over 40 countries. I loved traveling the world while getting to do what I loved. My favorite part of being on tour was traveling with my fellow cast members who turned into family, I made life-long friendships with people from all around the world. After a nine-year figure skating career, I decided to hang up my skates and move to Winnipeg in 2018 to obtain a degree in Recreation Management and Community Development from the University of Manitoba. 

It didn’t take me long after moving to Winnipeg to realize that I wanted to follow in my family’s footsteps and get into the real estate industry. After obtaining my degree, I started my own journey as a real estate agent here in Winnipeg and have never looked back. 

In my spare time I like to stay active, and even though I have retired from figure skating I still like to consider myself an athlete. I love to keep moving through group fitness and you can often find me at an early morning fitness class whether it be yoga, circuit training, indoor cycling or my personal favorite, barre. I even got my partner Kyle hooked on cycling classes. When we aren’t busy working or challenging each other during a workout (we are both competitive and love a little friendly competition), we like to spend time outdoors with our Labradoodle puppy, Bodie. During the summer we love to get to the lake and spend time with family and friends. 

I would describe myself as a people person and one of the things that excites me the most about being in the real estate industry is building meaningful relationships with clients. I have a passion for helping others and want to ensure you feel supported throughout your whole experience.
