"I love this neighborhood because I've lived here over 30 years. I love the community. The ability to walk along the river, to say hi to people that I meet. I feel safe here. [..] It's my home. I can't think of living anywhere else. And I have friends here." | " I love this neighbourhood because there' s a river trail right here to skate on. I can skate all the way to the Forks down the Assiniboine in the winter time. In the summer, I can take my bicycle from my house all the way to Witthier Park without going on a road. I can go down the Lyndale path all the way under two bridges. So I love it. It's close to the city. I can walk to Jets games, I can walk to the Forks. The people are great. The houses have a lot of character. Lot of nice dog walkers I meet every day around here. I could walk across the river even in the winter and walk on the other side. It's an awesome neighbourhood. If you're thinking of getting a place, it's great. It's hard to get into, maybe. But we love it." | "We've been in this neighborhood for almost 40 years. Lived on a house on Birchdale, and now we're on Crawford. We love it here because it's quiet. It's close to everything. Close to the river. We can take walks and enjoy nature. Every once in a while, we see some deer walking in front of our house. [...]We've grown up in this area, and we just love it here. And we will stay here as long as we can. " |
"We love Norwood. We've been here for 25 years. The people, first and foremost, are excellent in this little community here. We love the river. In the winter, we get down and walk to the Forks. And in the summer we do our hikes on Lyndale Drive all the way down to St Mary's. It is a fantastic place. Young families, retirees, everyone is here and we love Norwood." |
