These two areas overlap creating a family-friendly neighborhood close to all amenities. Most homes here feature front drive access, mature trees and decent sized lots. Found in close proximity to schools, the University of Manitoba, St. Vital Mall and St. Vital Park.
These two areas have a pretty competitive real estate market. Homes usually sell in the mid $300,000 range, with exceptions found on River Point Drive and surrounding streets where homes can near a million dollars. Homes started being built here in the late 60’s, mostly bungalows and bi-levels, as we neared the 90’s “River Point” was built backing on the Red River. This area is comprised mostly of residential single detached homes, but there is a section where River Rd meets up with St. Mary’s Rd where you will find quite a few condominium complexes.
