NIVERVILLE

Niverville is one of the fastest growing communities in Canada. It started as the Rural Municipality of Hanover, became a village in 1969, then grew into a town with 1530 residents in 1991. According to the 2021 Census, Niverville is now home to 5947 residents and this number continues to rise. But why is it so popular, you ask? This family-friendly community has developed to offer all conveniences a growing family might need (groceries, restaurants, fast food options, care homes, etc.), while offering schools of all levels, parks, and even a golf course! It is also just a short minute drive from Winnipeg making it easy to access big city amenities while still enjoying the benefit of living in a close-knit, smaller town atmosphere.

REAL ESTATE TREND

Niverville offers affordable living from single-detached homes to multifamily housing. There are a wide variety of housing style options to choose from.  There are great starter homes, often smaller bungalows built in the 50’s and 60’s, but there has also been a great deal of new development within the area to accommodate demand for the population explosion. Today, the area is comprised mainly of bungalows, two-storeys, bi-levels, townhouses, duplexes and apartment-style condominiums.

WHY WE THINK THIS IS A GREAT NEIGHBORHOOD TO LIVE IN?

Niverville is a fast-growing family-friendly community. It offers everything you need from parks, pathways, schools, recreational and health care facilities. It is conveniently close to Winnipeg, making a daily work commute relatively easy. However, the town itself offers job opportunities as it includes the Niverville Business Park that currently consists of 18 businesses. The Business Park will soon be home to Jette Studios, a multi-million-dollar film and television studio that will provide employment for locals and the surrounding areas.  Also in development is the Blue Crescent Hotel, that broke ground in March, 2023.

Want to try some of the local favorites?

Negash Coffee serves specialty Ethiopian coffee. Stop by on your way to work and grab a delicious morning beverage. Foodie Panda is an Asian restaurant with big portions and traditional Chinese cuisine.

Looking for a dinner out or perhaps a drink in a welcoming environment?  Hespeler’s Cookhouse and Tavern is a great place for a night out.
