School & Services

Canterbury Crossing is operated by the Louis Riel School Division. There are two elementary schools in the neighbouring community of Canterbury Park: Harold Hatcher and École Centrale, which is a French immersion school. There are two middle schools; Arthur Day and the French immersion school, École Regent Park. The area also has two high schools; Murdoch Mackay Collegiate and College Pierre-Elliott-Trudeau, which is also a French immersion school.

The neighbourhood offers a full array of amenities in a safe, family-friendly community. You'll find everything you need in the way of shopping, professional and emergency services - most within walking distance or just a short drive away. The closest hospital is Concordia hospital and is just a 15 minute drive west.

Shopping

Shopping within the immediate community is limited.  Canterbury Crossing is more of a residential suburb.  However, in the surrounding area there are a couple different options including malls and big box stores such as: Kildonan Place Shopping Centre, Costco, Walmart, Home Depot, etc. all found further down Regent Avenue West.

Entertainment and Recreation

Canterbury Park benefits from its close proximity to the well-established Transcona community.
